TRU is a not-for-profit enterprise whose mission is to defend the future of work and education. TRU partners with academic institutions and corporations to create a bridge for students and employees. Much like the Olympics, which attracted the world’s best athletes to come together and push the boundaries of human endurance, speed, and physical prowess, TRUe has become the academic analogue. 

Our Leadership

The Personal Board of Advisors which includes mentors, coaches and confidantes is designed to provoke, challenge and celebrate individuals and enterprises in their learning journey. They facilitate TRU’s goal of producing curious, intellectually vibrant, and agile lifelong learners, our leadership team will actively participate with you from onboarding to impact.

One of Silicon Valley's most respected voices in education and the future of work, Freedom is also a mentor and coach for institutions, corporations and individuals alike. He is the founder of the Movement Thinking movement which he brings to TRU.

Esther Wojcicki, PhD

Moonshots in Education Movement

A legendary educator, Esther Wojcicki is "the Godmother of Silicon Valley" as well as a mentor and coach to many corporations. She is the creator of the Moonshots in Education movement which she will bring to our institutional, corporate, and individual members.

Honorable Professor Paul Mavima

Minister of Labor and Social Welfare

Honorable Professor Mavima is the Chairperson of the United Nations Bureau of the Sixt Session of the African Regional for Sustainable Development. He is the current Minister of Labor and Social Welfare. Prior to this role, he was the Minister of Education for the nation of Zimbabwe. At TRUe he advises on building the bridge between the United States and Africa.

Our Excellence

It’s not what you know, it’s how you use it (TRU FLIP)

  • Instead of building foundations solely in a unique discipline, TRU scholars master skills and competencies, which become building blocks that could be “rearranged” and translated across a myriad of work contexts throughout their lifetimes.
    • From Transcript to Masterypt: TRU revolutionizes the transcript, an obsolete, retrospective, and metadata-poor record of time spent, rather than skill or knowledge acquired. The transcript is replaced by the “masterypt,” a unique, living artifact of competencies that should become a coveted tool for employers to assess the potential of a candidate. TRU scholars are aggressively recruited for their versatility and their ability to learn and adapt as rapidly as their companies and organizations evolve.
  • Though many scholars will continue to work within existing organizations, TRU scholars are equipped to chart new career paths and define new roles that did not exist prior to experiencing TRU.
